The lovely folk at Kapiti Cheese are giving five lucky readers $40 of their cheese!
Here’s your chance to sample this year’s Kapiti champions from the 2012 Cuisine New Zealand Champions of Cheese Awards. In celebration of its success, specialty cheese maker Kapiti has five Kapiti cheese gift vouchers worth $40 each to give away. Taste for yourself just what makes a champion cheese.
Introducing this year’s heroes:
- Kapiti Kikorangi blue is New Zealand’s favourite cheese as voted by New World customers. With an unmistakable creamy golden curd and rivers of dark blue, this cheese has passed into legend.
- Kapiti Kahurangi blue was the Goodman Fielder Champion Export Cheese Award winner. Veins of sky blue flow through this mild cheese resulting in a creamy, smooth texture and a subtle earthy flavour.
- Kapiti Aorangi Traditional Brie, a Gold medal winner, is the stuff of legends. Shrouded in a snowy rind, this legendary creamy double brie has a silken texture and a hint of earthy mushrooms.
- Kapiti Pakari Aged Cheddar, also a Gold medal winner, speaks of maturity and strength. Aged 18 months, this is a firm, dry body cheddar with a sharp, tangy flavour.
